Abby Clarke - Set Designer
Abby is a recent graduate of English Language and Literature from Oxford. Passionate about theatre design and interdisciplinary collaboration, Abby has designed for a large number of shows within Oxford. Her design was instrumental in Around the World in 80 Days (Oxford, Buxton Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe 2015), which won the Best Production Award at the Buxton Fringe Festival in 2015. She has designed for a variety of venues including both the Oxford Playhouse and the New Theatre, and worked on a number of other shows. Choice credits include: The Furies (Oxford Playhouse 2014), Living Together (Oxford Playhouse 2015), TEDx Oxford (New Theatre 2015), HMS Pinafore (The Minack Theatre 2014), Iqbal Khan’s The Changing of the Guard (O’Reilly Theatre 2016), His Dark Materials Part II (O’Reilly Theatre 2015), The Phantom of the Opera (O’Reilly Theatre 2016), Yesterday (Burton Taylor Studio 2015), The Oxford Revue’s Aladdin! (O’Reilly Theatre 2013) and R&J (Michael Pilch Studio 2014). Abby is now pursuing a masters course in Theatre Design.
John Curran - Composer
John Evans - Sound Designer
John Evans is an Oxford based sound designer and mixer, and recently graduated with a masters degree in Physics from St. John’s College, Oxford. While at university he was a part of over 40 student shows; including as Sound Designer The Phantom of the Opera, Singin’ In the Rain, Passion, Noises Off, West Side Story, Assassins, The History Boys, Frankenstein, and Sir Gawain; as a member of the sound department Sweeney Todd, Spring Awakening, and RENT; as Lighting Designer Orlando, The Furies, Arcadia, The Comedy of Errors, and 1984. He has also been part of the design team of several non-student shows in local professional venues including the Oxford Playhouse.

Katrin’s lighting design credits include Ash (Bric a Brac), Rounds (Resuscitate Theatre), The Phantom of the Opera (Milk and Two Sugars), His Dark Materials Part II (Peculiar Spectacles), The Architect (Hypnotist Theatre), As I Crossed A Bridge of Dreams (Peculiar Spectacles), His Dark Materials Part I (Peculiar Spectacles), Stones in his Pockets (Infinite Space Theatre), The Fall of the House of Usher (Rose Bruford College), 36 (SQx Danza), Rocket to the Moon (Rose Bruford College), Macbeth (Infinite Space Theatre), Faust is Dead (Rose Bruford College) and Across the Universe (Vienna International School). Upcoming lighting designs include A Clockwork Orange (Barricade Arts) and American Idiot (Inspire to Discover). Katrin graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2014 with a first-class honours degree in Lighting Design.
Madeleine Perham - Adaptor & Director
Madeleine was a founding member of the Theatre Royal Haymarket Youth Company, and a graduate from the Ambassador Theatre Group’s Young Director Programme. Her directing credits include Blue Stockings (Simpkins Lee Theatre), Somebody Out There Loves Me (the Space on the Mile) and His Dark Materials: Part I (O'Reilly Theatre). As associate director: The Producers (Oxford Playhouse), Season's Greetings (Old Fire Station), and Mischief Managed (short film to be released in autumn 2016). As fight director: Breathing Corpses (O'Reilly Theatre). Her writing for young people has been performed at the New Wimbledon Studio, and before this she worked for the Imaginarium Production Company.
Stephen Poole - Production Electrician
Stephen is a production electrician and general technician based in Oxford, London and the South East. Recent credits include production electrician for The Phantom of the Opera (Milk and Two Sugars), LED technician for Singin' in the Rain (Curious Grin), and lighting designer for Jekyll & Hyde (Pembroke College, Oxford). He was Technical Manager of the O'Reilly Theatre, Oxford from 2012 to 2016. Previous productions include the first amateur run of the musical Spring Awakening (Barbarian Productions; DSM), the NDSF-shortlisted Mephisto (Heartsleeve Productions; Production Manager), TEDx Oxford 2015 (Oxford Student Conferences; Technical Director), and several years at the Edinburgh Fringe and amateur UK tours, including the sell-out shows A Clockwork Orange and Dinner (Acorn Productions; Lighting Designer).
